Festival reviews 2007
One of the more relaxed festivals to say the least!
Greenman festival
Being a folk festival, the beard count was pretty high which can only be a good thing. Despite the rain it didn’t get too boggy and the beautiful surroundings more than compensated for a lack of sunshine.
Joanna Newsom certainly put a chill down many a spine on the Friday night, and on the Saturday Robert Plant gave a rousing performance. The stewards did a sterling job, especially during the chilly night-shifts. The Tea And Refreshment Team Stewards kept spirits high while back at the Oxbox we did some minor celeb spotting as loads of the artists were camped in our field (cheers to the Broken Family Band!).
It was a pleasure to meet and work with all of you guys, hope to see you there next year! (I’ve started growing my beard already...)
