Oxfam has over 700 shops, which span the length and breadth of the country and, like any other major player in the high street, it takes skilled teams to run them profitably.

More than just a sales assistant
If you have an afternoon or two spare (or even more!), you could join the dedicated team of professionals and supporters at your local Oxfam shop. There is arguably more skill and scope in working in an Oxfam shop than any other retail outlet in the high street. While Oxfam shops do sell a range of new products – cards, gifts, food etc – the majority of the stock is donated to the shops by Oxfam’s supporters. So you never know what is going out on the shop floor, how much it will be or whether you are going to discover a valuable antique or a rare first edition.
