In the English-speaking Caribbean, Oxfam's focus is on sustainable livelihoods, and helping people have a say in the decisions which affect their lives.

Challenging times

The small economies of the English-speaking Caribbean continue to face more than their fair share of challenges.

Many small Caribbean islands are dependent on the banana industry. This leaves them dangerously vulnerable to climate changes and international economic developments.
